BY PURCHASING OR DOWNLOADING A PRODUCT AT GENERAL COMPONENTS ONLINE STORE, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU ARE ACCEPTING THESE TERMS ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER PERSON OR COMPANY OR OTHER LEGAL ENTITY, YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE FULL AUTHORITY TO BIND THAT PERSON, COMPANY OR LEGAL ENTITY TO THESE TERMS.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS – DO NOT PURCHASE, DOWNLOAD, INSTALL OR USE PRODUCTS.
BY PURCHASING OR DOWNLOADING A PRODUCT YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. SALES AND REFUND POLICIES
1.1 Heater kits, AC kits and maintenance kits, “cut to length” products, spare parts and consumables. All sales are final. No refund will be granted if the product has been prepared and/or left the GC warehouse.
1.2 Simple products. The product should be returned to sender within two weeks from the date it was received by the end user. The product should contain all parts and be packed in original packaging in order to receive a refund. No refund will be granted if the product has been damaged or has signs of wear.
2. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
1.1 Heater kits and AC kits.
Kits assembled, installed and commissionned by a GC certified technician are covered by one or two years of warranty since the date of install, in accordance with GC Warranty Manual. In cases of DIY installations by end user, the warranty period on equipment is six(6) months from the date of purchase, from which first three months cover all consumable components, such as glow pins, atomizing screens, burners etc. After three month period warranty does not cover failure of consumable components.
1.2 Maintenance kits and consumable parts.
All consumable parts, except gaskets, o-rings, seals, are covered by a three month warranty since the date of purchase.
1.3 Electrical and mechanical parts.
All parts are covered by a six month warranty since the date of purchase.
3. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITIES
Under no circumstances and under no legal theory, whether in tort, negligence, contract or otherwise, shall either party be liable to the other under this agreement or in connection with its subject matter for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, consequential, or extra-contractual damages of any kind, loss of goodwill, loss of personnel salaries, lost profits or revenue, damages due to work stoppage and/or computer failure or malfunction, and/or costs of procuring substitute products or services, whether or not foreseeable, even if the exclusive remedies provided by this agreement fail of their essential purpose and even if either party has been advised of the possibility or probability of such damages.
4. PRIVACY AND COLLECTION OF PERSONAL OR SYSTEM INFORMATION
The GC online store does not contain means of collection, storage and/or transfer of sensitive private, business or financial information (such as credit cards) outside of GC domain or without user’s consent. GC, however, may employ applications and tools to collect personally identifiable, sensitive or other information about you, your computers (e.g., including, without limitation, information regarding network, licenses used, hardware type, model, hard disk size, CPU type, disk type, RAM size, 32 or 64 bit architecture, operating system types, versions, locale, BIOS version, BIOS model, total scanners deployed, database size, system telemetry, device ID, IP address, location) (collectively, “Data”) and employ that Data in security mechanisms and quality of service.
